Heya gang, 0.5 I know I know, we're a week late. I mentioned this to my patrons, but I'd failed to update y'all and that's entirely my bad. (There's too many platforms and I want the internet to stop.)  By the time I'd realized my mistake, it was only a couple days before we were intending to share the build... so why not just apologize in the same post. (I am super sorry, I won't forget again, I promise. T.T)

Anyway, the reason for this minor pause is due to some personal stuff happening in my real life that's required a lot of my time to plan for and required me to stop writing in April. Now you may be asking, what does that mean. Well to summarize you'll be seeing another delay in May. (But you still have 0.6 to look forward to at the end of this month, so be excited about that.) That doesn't mean there absolutely won't be a build, you might still get one but it'd be on the very small side. Meanwhile my patrons are seeing said delay this month and won't be getting 0.7 until next month. It probably sounds complicated, but I promise it isn't.

However, that's enough about me. Nobody cares about my DRAMA, what you're here for is the juicy... sweet... 0.5 update, and the changelog:

- Day 5 Content (Includes a nicely shaded CG and one of my favorite pieces thus far.)

- Modified Title Screen (Y'all saw this last month to keep you tied over a bit, and we're still working on it. Now there's a newsfeed, and we've moved the buttons around a bit to hopefully be more pleasing to the eye.)

- New Cafe BG, Kitchen BG, and More Backgrounds! (Likri really came through for us this time around.)

- Fixed a History bug where the logs would show the player as the [name] variable rather than their actual name.

- Other minor typos and bug fixes, additionally, while not yet implemented, we're working on a method of fast-pacing through the game for when saves get corrupted and you don't want to replay the whole thing. (Although... I'd like to think you'd WANT to replay the whole thing. T.T)

- Additionally you may find our password system for unlocking new modes and features in our extras menu. We're releasing new passwords every other month to our $6 patrons, but may release the rare bonus password publicly. (The only password implemented currently is shirtless mode.)

With that out of the way, we also have some news. Many of you have asked if Psychic Connections will be featuring NSFW content. The answer to that question is yes, starting as of next update which will be relatively tame overall but content of that variety will be increasing over time. What does that mean for you, the user. Well when we switch the game to NSFW you'll no longer be able to find us searching while browsing on itch without an 18+ account, or without a direct link bookmarking you to this page, or via google for those not looking to make an itch account.

It's not THAT big of a deal, but we wanted to let you all know and be informed of the upcoming change.
