Hey Rook I have another small inconsistency in the phone conversations with Zoe. With some of the options you can choose you get Jude's and Quinn's numbers before Zoe gives them to you; and this is reflected in the dialogue later with her only giving Elliot's in the dialogue. But in the conversation only with her it shows all three phone numbers. This could be fixed by having the mc say a line that she must've not known about Quinn giving them Jude's and his numbers or simply removing those two when you choose to visit the library with Quinn. This is a minor flaw and doesn't need to be addressed immediately, but I just wanted to notify you of it.
Essentially it's little gags and fun alternative ways to play. Like currently if you're a patreon you'll get the password to play Shirtless mode, which as you can guess, removes shirt layers on all of the sprites. (The dialogue will almost never reflect the game play modes so this may lead to more humorous interactions.)
I previously played through all the routes and found some typos, wonderful game, I'm glad to see the phone history typo correction was implimented into the update. Hope youre having a wonderful day and try not to lose sleep over getting the updates out exactly on time. People are willing to wait if your health will be compromised otherwise. I loved Jude's route in the previous update and can't wait to see what you've added this time around. I'll try and keep out an eye for any typos patreon people missed if youd think that'd be helpful.

Great game over all. Only issue I have is I don't have a clue how,if I can, to transfer save files from one version to another. I have to keep replaying the game every update. If someone can tell me how that would be great.
Files are stored in the game folder methinks, on my phone they're in Internal storage > Android > data > io.itch.rookfluffy > files > saves however I'm fairly sure that if a scene changed the save file will not be compatible, I suggest you just get a fresh install and check Skip unseen text in the options so that you only get stopped on choices
This is one of limitations we're dealing with for sure, we're also working on an additional option to streamline the process to getting back to the newest content whenever your saves lose said compatibility. (But it's not ready yet, so unfortunately that's really the only way to do it.)
I've gotta say, this is one of the most adorable visual novels I've personally seen in a while, looking forward to reading through this update, and the soon to come nsfw being added later

Absolutely wonderful game so far, the writing is phenomenal, the art style is cute and unique (been a fan of Shiuk for a long while, mostly what drew me into the game), and overall this is fantastic! I'm so excited to see where the story goes

Another deep philosophical question: I've played a couple of VNs in my day and what I see (sometimes as a little easter egg in the game) is the creator's view on criticism. A lot of them talk about how people usually just say the game was just "good" and not going in-depth. I haven't played this VN long enough to leave that good a review and this isn't even finished yet (I understand a game can be criticized without being finished). So in relation to this oversized comment, how many people do you usually get just saying this VN or other projects are "good". I've read through these other comments and they have been rather thoughtful and well crafted.
I'll admit, in our itch reviews, we do get a lot of reviews saying the game was good, or without any explanation of what they liked or in some cases we've gotten a couple 1-stars with 0 explanation on why we received those 1-star reviews. Was it the art? The genre? The story-pacing itself? I'll never know and will just have to take that rating hit as it is
That said, I don't expect novels of responses from everyone, because that in itself is a wholly unrealistic expectation. People who want to support the game will either leave 5* ratings, or comments on our page, our support us on Patreon, or they won't. I work on this project expecting nothing in return, but hope for good feedback so that I can improve myself, as well as produce the best product for the audience that keeps coming back for it.
All of that being said, that doesn't mean we haven't gotten good feedback. We have, I already have standing notes of things we need to work on moving forward, some of them are more pressing, and some take time to change, but we're doing what we can.
EDIT: I realize you were referring to our comment section, to be honest I've never actually taken the time to actually analyze how much constructive feedback we've received in the comment section specifically. I'm sure if I dig back though I'd find a few good nuggets which is all I can really ask for.
That's a good mentality to have as a game developer or a developer in general. You can't let negative criticism bring you down because that's what it is, criticism. Unless something crazy happens in the future that is totally unexpected, I think you've got a good future in making stuff on this site. But also keep in mind I have no idea what is happening behind the scenes so I wouldn't know of any other struggles you're having. That being said good luck. Sorry if this sounded cringy.
