Greetings friends, my apologies for the late update, I really didn't intend on it being this late and truthfully I need to be better on communicating on the itch forums. (Somehow I struggle to balance Patreon, Twitter, and Itch as far as forwarding information.)

So what's been going on, well firstly if you haven't seen our twitter post about the subject, our programmer Melo recently had a surgery on his booty, he actually had to have an emergency surgery and likely to have a follow up in the near future, this has put him out of commission. Prior to this I had a brief bout of writer's block working on a particular scene, which collectively pushed this further back than we wanted. Thus we've been delaying builds because he's unable to work, and I lack the knowledge to produce builds on my lonesome. I'll elaborate more after we get to what you're likely here to read about though...

Yes, after much waiting 0.7 is here! This build features updates to Aiden and Elliot's routes and concludes Day 6 for us.

- 13K words of Panther Dad and Posh Wolf content.

- Jericho the Bull-Bodyguard in CoLoR!!!

- A new thumbnail on itch.

- Other minor bug/typo fixes not worth mentioning

Additionally in this build, you may encounter some options that are currently locked. The simple explanation is that they'll become unlocked in 0.8. (The build was getting quite long in writing and we needed to get it to the proofreaders and Melo needed it to be a reasonable length to code.)

Okay, so now that we've got that out of the way, let's get into the bad news. We're entering a more official hiatus. Melo still has his followup procedure and needs time to recover which means we won't be able to produce more builds. During this time we're freezing our patreon and no longer charging folks there, but additionally we won't be posting updates here on itch.

Normally this would only put us out for a month or so. However, we realize that Melo being out of commission is a problem for the future because it COULD happen again, or he might need to leave the team at some point for personal reasons, and if such a thing occurs we might just find ourselves in the same mess. So we'll actually be on hiatus until 2022.

The reason for such a lengthy suspension is so that Melo can change the way we compile images into the script, both for space convenience, as well as to make it easier for me to work with that section of the script myself. Additionally, we're aiming to have the UI done which will require rigorous testing as we'll have several new features involved and we want to be sure it works. (See the video below of how it's looking so far.)

Now, make no mistake, despite new builds not coming out, that doesn't mean we'll stop working. Even now with Melo out of commission the script for 0.8 is done and proofread, and the script for 0.9 is almost finished to be sent to our proofreaders, and I intend to continue writing during this period so we don't have to worry as much should I ever hit a small block again, and Shiuk will continue making art for us when he works with us, and Hugh will be composing a few pieces, and Likri will be making some backgrounds to help us eliminate some of those dreadful placeholders. So when we DO come back it'll be in an absolute blaze of glory.

I know some of you will likely be disappointed with this news, and truthfully it's hard for me to go into a hiatus like this because I would love to just keep the train going but we have issues that we need to work out and we want to give you the best experience with Psychic Connections that we can.
