Release Response: Thank You!
So it's been almost a full week since the launch of Psychic Connections, and I felt it was appropriate to make this post to address the feedback and response you all have sent our way.
Firstly, we are all beyond happy to receive over 100 5-Star ratings, and over 2K downloads in just a week. It means more than you could possibly imagine to know so many people enjoyed what little we've provided so far, and took the time to check out our little project. The overall response has been very positive, and we appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time for us.
Moving forward, we intend to continue creating more content for you all to enjoy. The next build will be coming out at the end of this month, just like the last build. (Though you'll get access a week earlier, if you're a member of our patreon.) The hope is to have roughly the same amount of content as the initial build added onto the next build.
We also intend to apply a bit of polish and care to the initial content. (Which will be a continuous effort as we keep going.) So we hope if our initial build didn't catch you, that we will in later updates.
The next build will be providing you some more time with our favorite bois, as well as the resolution to the cliff-hanger of the first build. We're also hoping to provide a few minor visual and auditory improvements to the overall experience, so look forward to that.
That's all I have at this juncture. We're just getting started, but we hope you'll continue down this journey with us.

Uhm, hello! I'm super new to "Itch", so I don't really know what I'm doing. 😅 But I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. I'm afraid that I'll miss the release of the next build, somehow. And, I guess this is actually more than one question haha, how to I add the next build? And when I do, will my progress already be added to the new build?
I'm super sorry if these seem like such silly questions. And thank you to anyone who has an answer for me! 😺
Hiya Princess no worries it's a lot to get used to. My understanding of Ren'py, the engine that we are building Psychic Connections in, does maintain a consistent save-state memory. Provided we don't release an update that outright breaks a save and requires you to restart. (Which unfortunately, will no doubt happen at some point in the future.) You should be able to keep your saved progress.
Additionally you can get the next build by simply re-downloading the game off of our itch page which will be updated with the latest version of the game on the last Saturday of every month! If you're following us on itch (which I already know you are) you should also get a notification whenever we post an update or devlog.
